Abstract. The article deals with the concept, realization, and results of the first in the history of Ningbo city (China) Ukrainian art plein air painting and drawing. Brief characteristics of artists and curators of the project are given; the author describes the Chinese audience and professionals’ perception of the «Ningbo ochyma ukrainskykh myttsiv» exhibition.
