Abstract. In article was considered manuscript collection of folk charms from Village Lug, Rakhiv District, Transcarpathian Region. There has been tried of classification of charms by the objects of usage. The author pay attention on the methods of transfer of sacred knowledge and portrait of «unordinary — knowing» («baiilnyk»).
